Description: Dark olive above, with faint chestnut streaking on back; bright yellow eyebrow; yellow patch below eye; bright yellow below, with bold black streaking on sides; and two pale, thin wing bars. Female is slightly duller.
Behavior: Forages in lower branches and brush, twitching its tail.
Habitat: Not associated with true prairie, rather old pastures, hillsides with scattered woody vegetation, and similar shrubby habitats.
Where in Nebraska: Casual pring migrant, accidental lin summer and fall.
Fun Facts: Females will often eat the eggshells after eggs hatch.
